Luton Town have signed journeyman midfielder Jamie Hand on loan from Hayes & Yeading until December, with a view to a permanent move.

Including loan spells, the 27-year-old has played for 11 different clubs.

He joined Hayes from Woking last summer, and has gone on to feature 47 times for them, including seven games this term.

"He is an excellent passer of the ball and can break up play," Hatters boss Gary Brabin told the club websiteexternal-link.

"He's just what we're looking for. He's got great pedigree, is only 27 and has experience of playing at a much higher level."

Hand started his career at Watford, where he made 55 league appearances, and after a host of loan stints he moved on to Chester, Lincoln and Ebbsfleet.
