Barnsley are still searching for their first home win of the season after being held by Watford at Oakwell.
David Perkins' drive from the edge of the box hit the post inside 60 seconds for the Tykes while skipper Jacob Butterfield fired over from close in.
But it was Watford who took the lead before half-time, Marvin Sordell tapping in after Adrian Mariappa's long ball was headed on by Mark Yeates.
But Barnsley levelled when Andy Gray nodded in Jim O'Brien's centre.
