Dundee United's Johnny Russell rues red card against Rangers

Dundee United forward Johnny Russell says being sent off against Rangers was the low point of his season.

The 21-year-old has been named young player of the month for July and August but admitted September had startly badly.

Russell was red-carded for appearing to head-butt Kirk Broadfoot during his side's 1-0 defeat by Rangers.

"Saturday was a real low point for myself, but apart from that it has been a brilliant season," he said.
