Tom Elliot rescued Stockport County a Blue Square Bet Premier point as struggling Newport County extended their winless run to eight games.
Danny Rose's close-range strike gave Newport a deserved lead as the unmarked midfielder fired Craig McAllister's ball into the top corner of the net.
Sam Foley and McAllister missed great chances for the hosts to extend their lead before Elliot's late leveller.
The striker glanced Sean McConville's cross in for Stockport's seventh draw.

Newport County manager Anthony Hudson said: "We took our foot off the pedal in the second-half.
"I think we could have killed the game off earlier but I think it was a magnificent performance and one we can build on.
"I think we'll slowly pick things up and we're going to be alright. But it does feel a little bit like a defeat."
