Colchester United goalkeeper Carl Pentney has returned to Chelmsford City on a one-month loan deal.
Pentney, 22, spent part of last season with the Clarets, playing in their last 13 matches.
He is set to start for Chelmsford at Staines in the Blue Square Bet South meeting on Tuesday.
City's first-choice keeper Stuart Searle is out for at least a fortnight with a groin injury, and understudy Joe Woolley left the club last week.
Meanwhile, Reading winger Michail Antonio is set to extend his loan at Colchester.
The last match of his current deal is Tuesday's League One trip to Brentford.
