Northampton Town striker Adebayo Akinfenwa says that Michael Jacobs has a bright future in the game.
The 19-year-old midfielder scored twice in the 3-0 win at AFC Wimbledon, taking his tally for the season to three.
Akinfenwa told BBC Radio Northampton: "This boy can go all the way. I've told him time and time again that he's second to none.
"I've seen a lot of players, he will be a player for the future, he [just needs to] keep level-headed."
Jacobs emerged as a key player for the Cobblers last season, scoring eight goals in 36 league and cup starts.
"I'm going to aim for double figures this season," he said. "I've never scored a hat-trick so I was hoping for a penalty late on, but I was really pleased with the performance and how we played.
"I think this game has turned our season. It showed what a good team spirit we've got and hopefully we can push on."
The win takes Northampton up to 18th in League Two, and Gary Johnson's side are now unbeaten in their last three games.
