St Martin/SCF go top of Jersey Championship

St Martin Sporting Club Francais have gone two points clear at the top of Jersey's Championship.
They overcame Sporting Academics 5-3 thanks to goals from Aaron Scott (2), Ben Cesar, Daniel Kennedy and Alan Singh.
Eusebio Correia, Phil Helleur and Ashton de Carteret netted for Sporting Academics.
Elsewhere, Magpies remain the only side without a point this season after losing 4-2 at St Lawrence.
Luke Maguire, Tim Blundell, Rob Bailey and Steve Prue scored for the hosts.
Jamie Bowkett and Matt Pamplin were on the score sheet for 'Pies.
