Trinity beat Rozel to stay top of Jersey Premiership

Trinity remain top of the Jersey Premiership after a 3-0 win over Rozel Rovers.

Aiden Pepper, Frankie Berry and Dave Clayton netted for the early league leaders.

Elsewhere, St Peter overcame Jersey Wanderers 2-1 to keep up their unbeaten start to the new campaign.

Early goals from Chris Conning and Josh Franco gave St Peter the lead. Joe Murphy scored on his debut for Wanderers.

In the only other top flight game in the island on Saturday a Jorge Marques goal gave Grouville a 1-0 win over newly-promoted First Tower United.
