Sylvans go two points clear at top of Priaulx League

Guernsey footballer's leg and football

Sylvans have gone top of Guernsey football's Priaulx League after beating Rangers 2-0 on Saturday.

Sylvans went two points clear after they were the only side with an unbeaten record to get a win.

Mark McGrath's goal for reigning champions St Martin's was not enough as they could only muster a 1-1 draw at Port Soif against Rovers.

Meanwhile Belgrave Wanderers recovered from their midweek as they beat Vale Rec 4-0.
