Jersey U-18s lose 5-1 to Wales U-17s

Jersey's under-18s have been beaten 5-1 by Wales' under-17s in a friendly in St Helier.

The island side took the lead after 29 minutes when Bradley Straford scored, but Jersey's lead lasted two minutes before John Miles equalised.

Jake Eyre gave the Welsh the lead a minute into the second half before Jordan Evans scored twice.

Tom O'Sullivan rounded off the win 13 minutes from tiem in front of a 400-strong crowd at Springfield.
