Caretaker player-manager Andy Morrell's side took the lead through Mathias Pogba's header, before Liam Hearn levelled from outside the box.
Jay Harris scored from long range and Lee Fowler netted with a curling effort to boost Wrexham's on-field morale.
Off it Wrexham's owners revealed fresh interest in buying the club.
Backer Geoff Moss told BBC Sport Wales a new potential backer has surfaced should the proposed takeover by the Wrexham Supporters' Trust not go ahead.
Morrell brought himself on for the final 13 minutes at Blundell Park.
