The Confederation of African Football has unveiled the official mascot for the 2012 African Cup of Nations.
It was unveiled on Friday at a ceremony in Libreville, Gabon, which is co-hosting the competition with Equatorial Guinea.
The mascot is a gorilla, christened "Gaguie".
It sports a jersey representing the national colours of the host nations: green, white and blue.
Presidents Ali Bongo of Gabon and his Equatorial Guinea counterpart Theodoro Nguema attended the event.
The biennial tournament will be held from 21 January to 12 February, 2012.
