Keith Southern struck in injury time as Blackpool staged a late comeback to deny Coventry only their second victory of the season.
Coventry appeared to be heading for three points after Gary Deegan and then Lukas Jutkiewicz popped up to score.
But Southern's 91st-minute header from Stephen Crainey's corner ensured the match finished all square.
Gary Taylor-Fletcher's stunning first-half strike had initially given Blackpool the lead.
Taylor-Fletcher broke the deadlock after 18 minutes when Ian Evatt floated a deep ball into the penalty area and the forward took it down well before sending a sweet right-footed half-volley into the top corner.
Coventry levelled when Sammy Clingan's corner found Deegan 16 yards out to fire home.
Five minutes later Coventry were ahead as Jutkiewicz created space in the penalty area before drilling low across Matt Gilks.
But the home side could not hold out and one minute into the six added on, Southern headed home Crainey's corner.
