Cardiff striker Jon Parkin agrees Doncaster loan deal

Doncaster have signed Cardiff forward Jon Parkin on a one-month loan deal, subject to international clearance.

Parkin has played only twice this season, both times in the Carling Cup, scoring in the win over Huddersfield.

The Barnsley-born 29-year-old began his career with his home-town club and made his name at Preston North End.

Parkin will wear the number 19 shirt for Doncaster and is set to be available for Saturday's Championship match with Crystal Palace.
