Carrick Rangers beat Sport & Leisure in League Cup

Premiership team Carrick Rangers swept aside Sport and Leisure Swifts of Championship Two 6-1 at Seaview to reach the last 16 of the League Cup.
A Michael McClean header and shots from Tony Anderson and Aaron Harmon had Rangers three up by half-time.
George Stewart scored on his Carrick debut soon after the restart and Grant Hutchinson's sweet strike made it 5-0.
Substitute Conor Delaney got a goal back for Sport and Leisure but Paul Heatley made it 6-1 near the end.
Carrick will play Limavady United of Champioship One in the third round on Wednesday, 12 October.
