Hamilton maintained second place in Division One after Mark McLaughlin's strike gave Billy Reid's side victory over Dundee at Dens Park.

Goalkeeper Tomas Cerny denied Dundee striker Steven Milne with a fingertip save from the striker's shot.

Stephen O'Donnell struck the post for the hosts in the early stages of the second half.

And McLaughlin fired the winner on 66 minutes, latching on to Martin Canning's header to shoot home.
