Dumbarton scored either side of half-time to defeat Forfar Athletic in Scottish Football League Division Two.
David Winters, a first-half substitute for Pat Walker, turned home at close range to give the Sons the lead.
Bryan Prunty netted 16 minutes into the second half with a fantastic finish from the edge of the penalty area.
Jordon Brown threatened for Forfar but the hosts were unable to reduce their deficit and slip eight points behind league leaders Arbroath.
