Stranraer 1-0 Elgin City

A first-half goal from Nathan Shepherd gave third-placed Stranraer victory over Elgin.

The Blues took the lead in the 15th minute when Shepherd drove the ball home from 20 yards.

Mark Nicolson was unlucky to see his header fly over the crossbar after the break, as Elgin began to press for an equaliser.

Michael Moore nearly made the scoreline more emphatic for Stranraer, but his 18-yard shot sailed over.
