Nomads thump St John to top Jersey Championship

Jersey Nomads thrashed St John 5-0 to go top of the Jersey Championship.
Goals from Paul Starkey (2), Ross Davison (2) and Sammy Wright gave Nomads a convincing win.
It means they have already scored 12 goals in just two games this season and are yet to concede.
The other two games in the division on Saturday were also high-scoring affairs as Beeches Old Boys beat Portuguese Club 4-2, while St Brelade were 4-3 winners over St Clement.
