Everton striker Apostolos Vellios believes the unpredictable weather in England helps make football matches more exciting.
"I love this weather," new signing Vellios told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"I think football needs rain. We have more passion. The tackling, the heading is better."
The 19-year-old Greece Under-21 international arrived at Goodison Park from Iraklis Salonika in the January transfer window.
But, after a slow start to his Everton career, Vellios has appeared in the Blues' last three matches, scoring his first goal for the club against Aston Villa.
"I feel very good but we have to forget all of this if we want to be a success in this game.
"If you want to play in the game you have to train good, to give all that the coach needs and to play good."
