A brace from Robbie Willmott helped Luton recover from an early setback to run out comfortable winners.
A neat chip from Jack Mackreth put Barrow ahead but Willmott levelled when he knocked home the rebound from his own penalty miss.
Willmott gave the Hatters the lead from close range and Adam Watkins added a third with a cool finish.
James Dance scored from 18 yards before Amari Morgan-Smith rounded the keeper for his eighth of the season.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Luton manager Gary Brabin told BBC Three Counties Radio:
"We desperately wanted to get back to winning ways, but we equally wanted the performance as well. I am delighted with the performance and the result.
"Apart from the early goal, when we were up against it, it was a good first half performance.
"In the second half we really got at them and made it count. It was a good 90 minutes."
