BBC to screen Hibernian v Celtic in Scottish League Cup

Celtic beat Hibs on the opening weekend of the Scottish Premier League season

BBC Scotland will broadcast live television coverage of Hibernian's Scottish Communities League Cup quarter-final against Celtic.

The Easter Road match, which kicks off at 1915 BST, will be screened on BBC One Scotland on Wednesday 26 October.

Hibernian reached the last eight after beating Motherwell on penalties at Fir Park on Tuesday evening.

Celtic overcame Ross County in Dingwall, scoring either side of half-time with no reply.

All four quarter-final ties will be covered live on BBC Radio Scotland and highlights of the games will be available on the BBC Sport website.

St Mirren host Ayr United, Falkirk travel to face Dundee United and Kilmarnock will take on East Fife at Rugby Park.
