Southport sign Macclesfield's Vinny Mukendi on loan

Mukendi has played three times for the Silkmen this season without scoring

Southport have signed Macclesfield Town striker Vinny Mukendi on a month-long loan deal.

The 19-year-old, who made his debut for Macclesfield in 2008, has scored twice in 16 league starts for the Silkmen.

"Vinny is an imposing, promising striker with pace and I feel he could have a really good month or more with us," said Southport boss Liam Watson.

"He has been in Welsh Under-21 squads and has some Football League experience," Watson added.
