Swindon Town have signed striker Jake Jervis from Birmingham City on a one-month loan deal.

It will be the 20-year-old Blues academy graduate's fourth time out on loan, following two spells at Hereford United and a stint at Notts Countyexternal-link.

"Swindon are probably one of the biggest teams in this league," he told BBC Wiltshire.

"I want to help the team get up the table, score some goals and get some match practice."

He added: "No matter what level you play at it's still experience and you need loans on your CV so they people know you've played games."

Meanwhile, Andrew Fitton has stepped down from his role on the board of directors at the County Ground.

He quit as chairman in April following their relegation but continued his involvement with the club.

Fitton will still remain a director of holding company, Swindon Town F.C. Limited.

Head of sports therapy Kate Cady has also left her position to pursue a career elsewhere, although she will take on a part-time role in the club's centre of excellence.

She will be replaced by former Notts County physio Paul Godfrey on a part-time basis.
