Plymouth Argyle captain Simon Walton says working under the caretaker management team of Carl Fletcher and Romain Larrieu is benefiting the team.
Walton, 24, was given the captaincy after Fletcher was put in temporary charge of struggling Argyle.
"We all know what Fletch and Ro want from us," he told BBC Radio Devon.
"I think we know near enough exactly what's wanted of us and I think Saturday showed that we carried out our jobs to the letter."
The club's record signing added: "It's something that does help when you know what's expected of you and you can go out and put it into practise.
"We've had one win, but one win is not enough, we've got to keep going and we've got to make sure that we set those standards that we set on Saturday every week."
