Morecambe goalkeeper Barry Roche has urged his team-mates to forget about Saturday's defeat by Bristol Rovers.
It was only the Shrimps' second league defeat of the season following the opening day loss to Barnet.
"The gaffer [Jim Bentley] has mulled over the game on video and said we had enough chances to win two games," Roche told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"It was just one of those games and we need to learn from it and move on."
Before the 3-2 defeat by Bristol Rovers Morecambe had conceded just five goals.
But Roche believes the result should not detract from their recent form which has seen them move to the top of League two.
"We've been so tight defensively up until last weekend and we've looked a really solid unit," he said.
"But it's still only early days. I don't think there's any point at looking at the league table just now because there's an awful long way to go.
"We've had a very, very good start but the important thing is that we keep that going."
