Leicester defender Tom Kennedy has rejoined Peterborough United on a three-month loan deal.
The 26-year-old made 14 appearances while on loan at London Road last season.
Boss Darren Ferguson told the Posh website: "It is great to have him back. He did brilliantly for us last season.
"We were a bit light in that area with Ben Gordon going back and I am delighted to have Tom back on board."
Kennedy's stay at Peterborough was brought to an end after he picked up a serious knee injury at Dagenham in April.
Ferguson was keen to bring him back to the Posh over the summer, but had concerns over his fitness.
Kennedy said: "I am fully fit now, I have played a few times for Leicester and if the manager wants me to play, I am ready."
He goes straight into the squad for Saturday's match against Doncaster.
