Partick Thistle 5-0 Morton

Scottish Football League

Stephen O'Donnell scored one and provided another as Partick Thistle hammered 10-man leaders Morton in an experimental Friday night fixture.

O'Donnell burst into the box and coolly slotting past Colin Stewart after three minutes and his low ball across goal was slotted home by Kris Doolan.

Andy Graham was sent off for a hand ball with 15 minutes left and Christie Elliott scored from the free kick.

Chris Erskine poked home before Thomas Stewart fired in from 18 yards.

Morton still lead Division One by two points, but Hamilton Accies can go top if they defeat Falkirk on Saturday.

Thistle move into third, three points behind the Greenock side.
