Farid El Alagui's first-half goal gave Falkirk victory over Hamilton and moved the Bairns level on points with their opponents in the First Division.
Dougie Imrie fired wide for the hosts before Jay Fulton's effort was blocked by Hamilton goalkeeper Tomas Cerny.
El Alagui headed home Kieran Duffie's right-wing to edge Falkirk ahead.
Paul Currie twice wasted opportunities to level after the break and Hamilton substitute keeper David Hutton saved an effort from Mark Millar.
