Berwick Rangers lost a late goal and then a player as Annan Athletic triumphed in the Third Division encounter at Shielfield Park.

Annan striker Sean O'Connor's close-range header hit the crossbar on 30 minutes while Berwick's Ian Little also hit the woodwork just before the break.

Scott Gibson scored 19 minutes from time, striking a right-footed effort from the centre of the penalty area.

Darren Gribben was sent off for Berwick 10 minutes later for abusive language.
