Derby County to bide time in loan market

Glick says money is available if the Rams need to strengthen this season

Derby County chief executive Tom Glick has said money is available to strengthen in the loan market but any imminent move is "unlikely".

The international break means the Rams do not play until 15 October when they host Championship leaders Southampton.

But Glick told BBC Radio Derby: "It's unlikely we'll make a move before then.

"But we have our eye firmly on what it will take to get through the first half of the season before January and if we feel we're light we'll make a move."

The Rams lie third in the table despite Saturday's 4-0 away defeat against big-spending Leicester City.
