Tom Collins' second-half brace was enough to give Hayes & Yeading victory over Forest Green.
In an open first period Eddie Oshodi headed just over for the hosts before James Norwood forced a good stop from United keeper Steven Arnold.
Collins opened the scoring from Pierre Joseph-Dubois' ball with a neat finish.
Andy Sandell's free-kick drew a superb stop from Arnold as Rovers pushed for an equaliser only for Collins' well-taken second to make the points safe.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Forest Green Rovers manager Dave Hockaday told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:
"We made two individual errors and we've gifted them two goals.
"I think we've played very well football-wise, had a lot of chances and haven't taken them.
"If you don't take chances you are not going to win games. If you make individual errors, which you can't cater for, then you will lose games."
