York City winger Matty Blair believes the club will be challenging for promotion at the end of the season.
Blair, 23, joined City in the summer from Kidderminster Harriers and he told BBC Radio York he is confident their good form will continue.
"You can't look at the league now. You've got to take each game as it goes," he said.
"We've just got to keep doing our thing and not worrying about anyone else and then who knows?"
He added: "We've got plenty of games left and plenty of points up for grabs.
"I thought we looked good against Gateshead as well even though we lost the game.
"We'll be up there by the end, no doubt."
Blair said he has enjoyed his time so far at Bootham Crescent.
"I'm loving it. When I'm playing and if I'm scoring there's no better feeling. I feel like I'm on top of the world right now," he said.
York City are currently seventh in Blue Square Bet Premier.
