Newcastle United defender Jeff Henderson has joined Gateshead on a one-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old centre-back is yet to make his first-team debut but has been a regular for the reserve team.
"Henderson is a young up and coming player who I've seen on a few occasions and who is highly rated at Newcastle," said Gateshead boss Ian Bogie.
"He goes straight into the side at Ebbsfleet, I wouldn't bring in a player from Newcastle to sit in the stands."
The Tynesiders have also extended the loan of goalkeeper Jak Alnwick from the Magpies for a further fortnight, although the player is yet to make a full appearance for either club.
