Mixed fortunes for island sides in inter-island cups

Island strikers J-P Martyn and Mark Lucas were on target for Jersey champions St Paul's as they got back to winning ways with a 2-1 win over Vale Rec in the Jeremie Cup.

But North came away from Jersey with a 2-1 win over St Ouen in the Wheway Cup.

In the Priaulx League St Martin's stay top by a point after a 3-3 draw at second-placed Sylvans.

Mark McGrath scored two to take his tally to six goals in less than a week, with Ollie Newey notching Saints other goal.
