The second-placed Bosnians hammered Luxembourg 5-0 to remain one point behind Les bleus.

Russia top Group B after a 1-0 win against Slovakia thanks to Alan Dzagoev's deflected strike.

In Group A, Germany beat Turkey 3-1, allowing Belgium to leapfrog the Turks with a 4-1 defeat of Kazhakstan.

The Germans had already booked their spot in Poland and the Ukraine and made it nine wins out of nine in their qualifers, Mario Gomez and Thomas Muller putting Joachim Low's side up 2-0.

Turkey's Hakan Balta gave the Turks hope with a goal 10 minutes before the end but Bastian Schweinsteiger made it three in the 86th minute.

Serbia know that they must win their final game in Group C if they are to book second spot behind Italy, who they drew 1-1 with in their penultimate game, an early Italy goal from Claudio Marchisio being cancelled out by Branislav Ivanovic on 26 minutes.

The Netherlands - who had already qualified - are confirmed as winners of Group E after Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's first-half goal was enough to beat Moldova 1-0, while Sweden will finish second after their 2-1 win in Finland and will go through as the best runners-up if they can defeat the Dutch on Tuesday.

Group H remains tight after Portugal's 5-3 defeat of Iceland, and Denmark's 4-1 win over Cyprus means the two are level at the top on 16 points.

Greece are one point away from qualification after beating their Group F rivals Croatia 2-0. They overtake the Croats after goals after the break from Giorgos Samaras and Fanis Gekas.

Greece are now top with 21 points to their rivals' 19, so can go through if they avoid defeat against Georgia on Tuesday.
