York 2-1 Grimsby

Blue Square Bet Premier

York remain in the Blue Square Bet Premier play-off places as they came from behind to beat Grimsby Town.

Craig Disley's looping header from Rob Duffy's cross gave the visitors a fourth-minute lead.

York drew level when Jon Challinor's cross fell for Jason Walker and his spectacular scissor-kick went in off the inside of the post.

Four minutes from time Walker set up Ashley Chambers, who spun and drove his shot into the bottom corner.

York City manager Gary Mills told BBC Radio York:

"It's a great win for us. I thought it was a fantastic performance to go a goal down early like that.

"But we never panicked. We kept doing what we're good at. It was about passing the ball and waiting for the opening to happen.

"What a great bunch of players. It's a great three points and a fantastic game. We've won another football match and kept us up there."
