Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Ben Harding will be sidelined for up to three weeks following surgery on a bilateral groin injury.
The 27-year-old has featured 11 times since joining from League Two side Aldershot in the summer.
Meanwhile, fellow midfielder Martin Rowlands, who came off at half-time against Walsall on Saturday, will be assessed ahead of the weekend.
"He had a whack to the side on his ribs," said boss Gary Waddock.
"He was struggling to breathe so we had to take him off. We will have to wait and see how that settles down."
