Plymouth caretaker boss Carl Fletcher has praised young striker Matt Lecointe after the 2-2 draw with Accrington.
Lecointe, 16, made his second start for Argyle in the League Two match and won the penalty for Argyle's first goal.
His form, along with that of Luke Daley, has seen Blackburn Rovers loanee Tom Hitchcock return to his parent club after not scoring a goal.
"Matty worked hard and didn't look out of place at all for someone so young," Fletcher told BBC Radio Devon.
"I don't look at Matty about age. All the players in there, if they're good enough, then they'll play.
"It's a learning experience for all of them to take on in their future football careers."
And Fletcher says the club's young players have worked hard to try and bring success to the crisis-hit club, who are bottom of League Two.
"We've got a lot of good players here and a lot of good young lads and the way they've been working they've been doing things the right way and things will turn round for the better," he said.
