Midfielder Ramon Nunez has signed a new four-year contract with Leeds United, with the option of a further 12 months.
The Honduras international's new deal is reward for his fine form this season, which has seen him score five goals in 10 appearances.
Nunez, 25, joined Leeds from Deportivo Olim in August 2010, and enjoyed a loan spell at Scunthorpe last season.
"I'm delighted. Leeds is the club that gave me an opportunity and I'm happy here," Nunez told the club website.
"Obviously, getting to the Premier League is the goal of everybody here. We certainly have enough good players to do that."
