Chesterfield manager John Sheridan has been given a two-game touchline ban for his reaction to the Spireites not getting a penalty in the 3-1 defeat by Charlton last month.
The 47-year-old ex-midfielder admitted the Football Association charge of using language and/or behaviour amounting to improper conduct.
Sheridan unleashed his fury on the fourth official after his side were not awarded a penalty for handball at 2-0.
He has also been fined £2,000.
