Southport defender Steve Akrigg says their impressive run of form is down to the team playing without fear.
The Sandgrounders have only lost once in their last 10 games, winning seven.
"There's no fear in the side at all and all the lads think no matter where we go we think we can get something," Akrigg told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"At Haig Avenue we want victories because home form is vital. I think we're playing really well and long may the run continue."
Southport are 10th in the Blue Square Bet Premier and are only two points outside the play-offs after
The former Skelmersdale United defender has pointed to a solid defence, that has conceded one goal in four matches, as the main reason for their lofty position.
"We haven't been conceding goals and against York it was a slice of bad luck that we conceded, even if we had 10 men," Akrigg continued.
"We've been scoring goals pretty regularly and we look very strong. It looks like we can see games out now and at the start of the season I don't think we were like that."
