Stenhousemuir 3-1 Dumbarton

Scottish Football League

Defender Ross McMillan's double helped Stenhousemuir to a comfortable 3-1 win over Dumbarton at Ochilview.

Andy Rodgers put the home side ahead on 29 minutes with a right-footed shot into the top right-hand corner from 12 yards out.

Davie Irons' side then doubled their advantage on the stroke of half-time as McMillan headed home Stephen Murray's inswinging corner.

And McMillan secured victory for the Warriors with his second 13 minutes from the end.

Murray was again the provider as McMillan headed past Stephen Grindlay from close range.

Midfielder Scott Agnew pulled a consolation back for Dumbarton with a 30-yard free kick into the bottom left-hand corner five minutes from time after Martyn Corrigan had fouled Bryan Prunty.
