Notts County 1-1 Brentford

Clayton Donaldson's spectacular strike earned Brentford a share of the points against Notts County.

Jeff Hughes fired the Magpies ahead from the penalty spot after Alan Judge was brought down by Brentford defender Karleigh Osbourne in the area.

Donaldson equalised for the visitors after the break, picking the ball up 25 yards from goal and lashing an effort past Stuart Nelson.

The home side had a late chance to win but Sam Sodje fired over the bar.

Brentford had manager Uwe Rosler sent to the stands for refusing to move out of the way to allow Alan Sheehan to take a free-kick near the sidelines.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Notts County manager Martin Allen told BBC Radio Nottingham:

"They do a very good job of getting people behind the ball and making it difficult to play against.

"Overall, it is a good point as they do well away from home but the lads gave it everything they have with commitment and energy.

"There was, at times, real quality in our play and it is a good point."

Brentford boss Uwe Rosler told BBC London 94.9:

"I stood in my technical area and the ball was moved up two or three metres from where the foul happened.

"We will ask the Football League to look into it.

"I didn't do anything wrong, I stayed in my technical area and didn't move."
