Mansfield 3-2 Alfreton Town

Andy Todd scored an injury-time winner as Mansfield came from 2-0 down to beat nine-man Alfreton Town.

Goals from Anton Brown and Paul Clayton put the visitors into a comfortable lead after 20 minutes.

Alfreton were reduced to nine men with Anthony Wilson and Greg Young being dismissed for second bookable offences.

Matt Green's penalty began the comeback after Adie Hawes' foul on Paul Connor, with Lindon Meickle equalising and Todd winning the game from close range.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Mansfield Town manager Paul Cox told BBC Radio Nottingham:

"It was a strange match with a strange result. We did not play very well but created enough chances to win three games today.

"But we can't keep giving away stupid little goals like that. They had three efforts on target in the first half and scored two.

"Did the sendings off change the game? Yes, I didn't think we looked like scoring until their lads got sent off."
