A Danica Dalziel goal and two powerful strikes by Emma Mitchell put City 3-0 up before Celtic's Chloe Craig scored a consolation penalty.

Elsewhere, Hibs leapfrogged Celtic into second place with a 4-4 draw against fourth-placed Spartans.
