Reading midfielder Jay Tabb has been discharged from hospital and given the all-clear after being knocked unconscious during Saturday's game.
Tabb was hit in the head by a clearance from Burnley keeper Lee Grant and was stretchered off after a lengthy delay.
The 27-year-old Irishman was taken to hospital, but eventually it was decided he did not need X-rays and he joined the team bus for the trip home.
"He was unconscious for 30 seconds," said Reading boss Brian McDermott.
McDermott added: "But he is OK which is the the most important thing.
"At the time it was worrying because it was a hell of a whack."
Physio Luke Anthony told the official website: "He saw two doctors and they were happy for him to be discharged and decided he did not need an X-ray."
Tabb's injury led to nine minutes of injury time which allowed his replacement Jem Karacan to score a 98th minute winner for the Royals.
