Mistakes must stop - Braintree Town boss Alan Devonshire

Braintree Town

Braintree Town manager Alan Devonshire has called on his players to cut out silly errors.

The Iron were leading 3-1 at home to bottom side Bath City on Saturday with 20 minutes remaining before eventually settling for a 3-3 draw.

"I thought we were seeing it through OK. You can't account for individual errors but they are creeping in," Devonshire told BBC Essex.

"We've had them at York, Kettering and here. They've got to stop."

Devonshire added: "I don't know what he [Ryan Peters] was doing. He could have kicked it out for a throw-in, anything.

"We've given away some shocking goals in the last three games, you can't do that at this level."
