Oxford City will meet Weston-super-Mare in the fourth qualifying stage of the FA Cup with the winners then going into the hat for the first-round proper.
City pulled off a shock in beating Blue Square Bet South side Eastleigh 3-1 on Saturday and are just a game away from a lucrative place in the first round.
Mike Ford's side will travel to Weston-super-Mare on Saturday, 29 October.
"We deserved to win the game and I am really proud of the players today," Ford told BBC Radio Oxford.
Steve Basham opened the scoring in the first half for Oxford City but then missed a penalty.
Darren Pond then scored a long-range left-footed effort in the second half before Jamie Slabber pulled one back for Eastleigh with a penalty.
But Pond made the game safe and headed City's third to send them into the next round.
"I have a very honest, athletic group of players," added Ford.
"It's great for the players to be in the hat for the next round of the FA Cup and we've earned £7,500 by winning today."
Ford also paid tribute to former player and manager Ian Rundle who passed away last week and dedicated the victory to him.
"We lost our former player and manager Ian Rundle on Thursday and I'd like to think if he was looking down on us now he would be proud of us today and how hard we worked," said Ford.
"It was a big shock, we signed a get well card for Saturday and we thought he was progressing well. Hopefully he is proud of us."
