Boston United's Jason Lee delighted by 'right response'

Joint-manager Jason Lee was pleased to see Boston United get over last week's heavy defeat by Altrincham with a 3-1 win at Histon in Blue Square Bet North.

After going behind to Daniel Sparkes' early goal Marc Newsham levelled from the spot before Danny Sleath and Lee sealed the victory in the second half.

"We had some wrongs to right and we're delighted," Lee told BBC Lincolnshire.

"We got the right response after going a goal down and from then on we were stronger and we got what we deserved."

And Lee, who netted his second goal in as many games, felt the Pilgrims could have gone on to score more.

"I asked the boys to go out and do what we believe they're capable of," he said.

"We could have scored 10 today. We conceded one but we're creating more and if we can score more we'll move in the right direction."
